Joy had a full week of events.
(for someone with no life, that's a completely new thing.)

Monday was probably the most relaxed day of the week actually.
i didn't do much i guess, considering i already packed my bags for the camp the next day.
BUT. i did (finally) complete solving 4096 in the game 2048.
ALL HAIL THE NEW GENIUS.
ok i'm just kidding. but seriously. you have to admit that's pretty good for someone with an intelligence like mine.
my advice to people trying for 4096 and higher: PATIENCE IS KEY.
and also try not to move the larger numbers around (i.e. put them at the bottom or something).
then i bought my own lunch, and rushed off to training after my appointment.
after training i went for supper.
then i K.O.ed for the rest of the night. (or morning)

THE START OF MY BATTLE AT LAC .
i mean. HMS LAC.
i was technically scammed into this camp because i didn't even know what 'LAC' stood for till the first hour of the camp.
apparently it stood for "Leadership Adventure Camp".
i would be lying if i said i did not think about running away after i heard that.
HAHAHAHA.
right into the camp, they dived into the ice breakers, which was a norm la.
but straight after that they were like "HI GUYS PLEASE PACK UP SOME STUFF. we're going for the amazing race around CLEMENTI".
dude. i barely know my group, not even awake and you're going to make us run around clementi. CAN YOU NOT.
but whatever we did it anyway and came in second!!!
oh and if i forgot to mention, i was in the HERMES tribe, sub-tribe of BOUNOS.
we only had like 4 girls in the group including me, and one poor guy facil.
HI JINGYEE, ANGIE AND HUIMEI IF YOU'RE READING.
it was pretty horrid running around in the hot sun, but lunch was pretty good since we had it at clementi mall. :p
plus our facil suffered the most cos he was like unwillingly running with us. (SORRY BEN)
then after that we gathered back in school for idk what and then dinner.
NOTHING PREPARED US FOR WHAT WAS UPCOMING: SAIL THE SEVEN SEAS.
if you don't know what that is and you see that in your camp timetable, you're pretty much dead.
we had to start as a whole camp, then flip our mats (a.k.a. ponchos taped down) from one end of the room to the middle. i want to cry. this description is not even detailed enough. BUT IT WAS HORRID. that's all i can say.
we suffered 6 hours of standing and whistles blowing in our ears. (someone tell me how i survived)
the roller coaster of emotions is just.. sigh.
then we washed up and just knocked out. at 3am. T.T

judging from the time we woke up (7am), you can tell how tired we were right.
the morning was actually pretty slack.
we had breakfast, then cheers, then a leadership workshop.
after that slack time and lunch.
then Ben was planning some stuff so he had someone to replace him for awhile.
sooooooo we had Brendon as our stand-in facil for awhile.
TECHNICALLY HE'S PART OF THE MAIN COMMITTEE FOR PLANNING THIS CAMP BUT ERRRRR.
idk how things turned out this way, but it did sooo yeah.
and Brendon is actually a friend of Mingjie so i was actually quite interested to talk to him.
but badum-tsssssss.
-awkward joy strikes-
THE WHOLE GROUP WAS SO AWKWARD. i can't even.
after the awkward lunch, our tribe had to clean up as part of the punishment for losing our flag.
next we had a fight against another tribe, Apollo. it wasn't a physical one la but wahbiang damn tormenting please. THE FEAR OF GETTING CAUGHT WAS JUST. OVERWHELMING.
i got caught once, and it was like a 3v1 situation where i was losing la. i won the 'match' and had to catch the loser but her friends grabbed onto me.
GUYS I THINK I SOUNDED LIKE HULK. cos i somehow managed to break free from 3 other girls. and i scared them a little cos i raised my leg (sorry people it was like. my taekwondo habit.)
LOL HERMES WON BUT I THINK I GOT LABELLED THE VIOLENT GIRL.
then we had high elements. in which i got a splinter and had to go to the first aid station.
sians.
Mamabelle (refreshing your memory, she's my CSOP GL) and Papa Jerry were there cos their tribe was having the match as well!
Mamabelle, who is trained in first aid, then helped me rid of my stupid splinter.
yay love her so much!!!
then we just sat at the deck and had dinner there.
after which we slacked till night time.
...
you guessed it. NIGHT GAMES AND NIGHT WALK.
the night games were fine and i was pretty much just scared of the kidnappers and paranoid.
the night walk...
i must say it was an accomplishment!
i didn't cry, i didn't kick anyone and i kept my cool. (kinda)
but, i did curse at the people, and i also screamed alot.
in addition to that, i kinda shoved a 'ghost' in her mask away from me.
I'M SORRY BUT I'M NOT SORRY AT THE SAME TIME.

then we went to sleep. yes. just like that.

last day of camp!
we supposedly had wet games, but damn Poseidon seems to be mad at Zeus for trying to win them so bad and like it rained damn heavily so it got cancelled and was concluded just like that.
after which we had lunch and lepak-ed till it was time to leave camp.
i left camp too late and was almost late for training OMGGGG.
darn photo-taking.
training at TP was boring and totally not worth my time thanks.

NPTKD BBQ LEGGO.
so in the morning i woke up and did whatever i needed to, then met Mingjie and headed out to Parkway Parade to meet Junhui, Yiheng and Vanessa to buy stuff for the BBQ.
i am pretty sure we were WAYYY behind schedule cos we left the mall at 4pm.
(shit)
whatever. as soon as we reached ECP, we started the fire. i mean. Mingjie and Junhui and Vaanan started the fire.
Yiheng and Amanda my queen dragged me to go cycling HAHAHA .
Liangkuok got dragged along too.
aiya then i came back to the pit after we cycled around and took alot of photos and videos.
SUDDENLY ALOT OF PEOPLE SIA HAHAHAHA.
we had alot of fun that night, and it must be true that people are more honest at night because i heard alot of words from the bottom of hearts.
not all are good, but well, i liked hearing the truth. (even if it hurts)
went home and dieded for the weekdays.
