Taiwan Dreams ;

Hi people i hope you're ready for a very short summary of this trip because there's way too many things to talk about for a 7 day trip and this is the best i can do.
(LOL I KNOW THIS IS DAMN LATE BUT JUST LET ME DOCUMENT WHAT I STILL REMEMBER FROM THIS TRIP FOR YOU OK)
Ready for boarding with me ????
LET'S GO.
Is this not the most serene view before you ?
Idk about you but i think i fell in love with this feeling of leaving my worries behind at home, and just going out to explore a new land with an adventurous heart.
Our first photo in Taiwan !! We're all here safe and sound !
Of course, i didn't leave my love for art museums in Singapore and brought it with me to Taiwan.
So we went ahead and explored this contemporary art museum.

...
I loved it.

We went to Xi Men Ding at night !
(Let's just say we went there more than once, and we also bought so much stuff there HAHAH)
Day 1 well spent !!

By far, i remember day 1 the best.
The rest were just a jumble of memories and i can't really tell the days apart anymore because they all seem like entirely different, yet the same, day.
I just wanted to stay there for a very long time. :')
We went to Taipei 101 but we didn't go on the view thingy idk what it's called. LOL.
We're so going back for more !!!
One of the most tiring days was when we went hiking !!!!
This was the start of an arduous journey no one expected. :")
Location: Yang Ming Shan
On the brighter side, we had tons of photoshoot opportunities up the mountain !
And the view was really pretty damn relaxing.

LOOK AT THIS LUSH GREENERY.
IF YOU THOUGHT SINGAPORE WAS VERY GREEN YOU ARE WRONG.

NEARING THE PEAK !
We reached !!!! It was a day where we all suffered massive cramps.
More than Taekwondo LOL.
DED.

We also went to Taichung for a day for the themepark which we didn't really get to enjoy because of the freezing weather as well as the rain. :')
What a waste.
But no worries.
Just gotta go back right? HAHAHA.
We visited the Rainbow Village.
It was a really colourful place, but small.
Really small.
You probably won't take an hour here unless you came for a photoshoot because the area was breathtaking and the colours were so vibrant it just makes you happy yknow.

En Route to better places !!
(AKA time to make up for lost sleep)
Shout out to the ultimate buddy !!!

We visited the Lavender Cottage, which was one of my favourite places that we got to visit tbh.
It was absolutely enchanting.
Just rows and rows of lavenders, and things made out of it.
I bought home some lavender cookies, my sister loved it !
Just incase you thought of getting them too....
My sister's judgement: GET IT. GET MORE.

But the coffee i got from the village wasn't as strong as it smells so there's that.
JUST PUTTING IT OUT THERE. :')
It makes really nice photo backgrounds HAHAH.
They have really cute set ups for you so don't worry that you can't find a backdrop you like !
I'm really sure you'll find something for everyone here.

Pro Tip: Bring an extra battery for your cameras !! You'll need them for sure.
At the end before we went back to the hotel, we also enjoyed a short photoshoot near some rails.
Thinking back on it, i really treasure the time we spent together, both good and bad.
A random insert of a night market game the boys enjoyed from idk which night HAHAHA.

Another more memorable day was when we went to visit one of the waterfalls and release a sky lantern !!!
I forgot where it is already damn.
This is still in Taipei tho, no more Taichung !
Location: ShiFen
Wouldn't trade this travellers for anyone else. :')
 Isn't the waterfall just pretty...
THERE WAS A DOUBLE RAINBOW TOO !
The food they sold here looks pretty good too, but they hiked up the price a little since it was a tourist attraction. A waste. :c
 Releasing our sky lanterns !
They flew really high and far.
I hope all our dreams come true !
 The sunset.
Location: JiuFen
This whole village was like a mini Santorini !!
(side note: you have no idea how many platforms i tried to search to remember the word Santorini. It was slightly embarrassing because it's on my wishlist to travel there. :') )
We ended the night here and headed home after that.

We spent 7 nights together but it felt more than that.
Thank you for going with me!

It's a really belated thanks considering it's already year end but yea.
HAHAHHA
(We went in April.)

Oops.
I finally stopped procrastinating.
:p

I can't wait for more travel adventures !

Joy
