Putting It On Repeat ;

Hello once again.

It has been some time since i've visited this space.

How have you been?

Have you been well? 

I hope you've been healthy and safe despite the pandemic going on.

Life has been kinda tough lately, and i guess it's a rocky period, but oh well.

I've started a new position ever since i last updated, and have now moved on.

For almost 2 years, i've been with Avensys Consulting as a HR, and honestly, i had the greatest fun there.

I learned so much about human resource, and i don't think i would have been able to do so without the guidance of my amazing manager, Verna.

She was an inspiration, a great leader, and more than that, a loving friend.

Times were tough, work was hard, but in the end, it was always enjoyable because the team was so good to me.

I'm currently working in another company as a People Partner Executive. :) 

Work is harder here because i'm now dealing with a different group of employees, but the challenge has been fulfilling so far, and i'm enjoying the learning once again.

Ever since i started work, i realise how mundane everything gets after awhile, and i know now why some people jump around different jobs all the time.

I really do.

It still isn't the ideal practice for me, but at least i understand the fun in that now.

The growth must have been interesting!

However, my current company has already laid down the most fun path i can think of, so i don't think i'll grow too ambitious anytime soon.

I hope and wish the same for all my fellow working adults!!

I feel like it's been long since i got to really sit down and enjoy what life has to give. :") 

Maybe it's the work, maybe it's everything else.

But oof i miss having too much time on my hands, having the energy and time to explore Singapore whenever i wanted to. 

Or even to just head out to a cafe and sit around to study.

My god, i took all of these for granted back when i was still a student.

To everyone still studying and yearning to get out into the working world..... 
Please hold on close to these memories that you're creating in school. You're going to miss it someday.

I hope the days get easier. 

I hope you'll be happier the next time i visit again. :)
